Tumbleweed Drive was originally written as a B-Side to the 2012 Christmas single 'The Sludge' (under the title Codswallop). Subsequently it was rehearsed in a band setting but didn´t gel rhythmically. In 2016 I reshuffled all the parts thereby turning it into more or less episodic, yet adventurous track. I placed some of the original riffs at the beginning and a 2015 guitar solo at the end. In 2016 I added an organ solo and wrote an entirely new middle section, featuring among other things a slow and eerie blues-doom section.
